today...she finally found it. :) The abundance of dew that had been collecting on our windows, Since getting our natural gas fireplace. I was so surprised I had been able to avoid the wet hand painting on my windows for 2 weeks now! But today she called me into the living room with that tone meaning she was doing something cute and wanted recognition... I walked into the living room tho, and couldn't find her. Then I noticed the curtain moving behind the couch. When I found her she was smearing her hands all over the window. When she seen me she giggled pointed outside and said "quirrels...wher'ed they go?" Of course I have still been seeing them. (the other day they had found our bucket full of walnuts we had collected. Needless to say they were helping themselves!) But not nearly as many as normal. the lighting was soo perfect that before I knew it I had taken 30 pictures of her playing in the window. :) And To my relief, our dehumidifier came FedEx a few hours later. :) bye bye wet windows!

Superbowl Sunday

So, I hear Inianapollis won Superbowl 41. I honestly didn't actually watch it. Although I listened to in the background all day and even seen some of the hillarious commercials. Even though I don't watch it I look forward to the superbowl. Our tradition every year, is to all pile into Wal-Mart just a few hours before the game starts. We load up the cart with dip, chip, and junk food. We always eat deli sandwiches. Although 2 years ago, my sister has added making torta sandwiches to the menu. mMmmM (see pic)

So, today I finally got my etsy store up to date, current pricing, and added some new pictures. :) I am eagerly anticipating the arrival of my new wide format printer. Its expected UPS thursday!
You should drop by my etsy store! Its always open super late at night, and unreasonably early in the morning... If your not into art, I also sell baby books, and if that still doesn't give you the urge to stop by, you should still check out etsy. There are soo many talented artistst'... there's something for everyone!

So today, was somewhat of a quiet relaxing saturday. These days tend to make you reflect on things. Today it was my late Mustang. It seems only appropriate to give him (yes it was a him) a place on this blog. 6 years ago last August, I fell in love with this little mustang. Of course at the time I was only 19. So, as many 19 year olds do... I treated that car like my own flesh and blood... (shh sometimes better) Over the last 6 years I had sunk thousands of dollars into modifications cosmetically and mechanically. flowmaster mufflers, h-pipe, K&N, headers, a new top, cervini's stalker front bumper, cobra spoiler, ROH rims, of course a sound system... a new transmission. not to mention all the blood and sweat it took to keep it looking professionally detailed at all times. Its weird how much a car can become your identity. So when Jaydon and I decided to move out of our single wide trailer, we decided we would have to sell the car to help come up with the closing costs, down payment. We reluctantly decided we couldn't live in the car... and agreed to sell it. Well the perfect buyer called us from montanna last month. He had seen it advertised and was very interested. He brought a trailer all the way from Montanna a week later and loaded him up. It was a very sad day. I felt like I was giving away one of my children. Stupid, I know. But, aside from the perfect for us home we are living in, I got a new Sony A-100 digital camera out of the deal. I have been trying to slowly figure it out, and broaden my photography skills. I also have a Canon i-9900 due to arrive UPS the 8th of this month. So, I can finally take my love of photography one step further. Although I look at these pictures and its hard to not be saddened, so many good memories were created with that mustang... but I have to remind myself that now I can preserve memories to come, and have a little more fun with it.

The beginning...

So here is my first post. I hope to get my art a little more recognized here, and I look forward to looking back to see just how much it has improved. I will treat this more like a photologger... Or something like that. Here is my absolute favorite picture as of today... My daughter is the sweetest most loyal photo subject. She is at the age now where she asks me to take her picture... who can resist???
